After two abortive attempts by LCC to take the Westerleigh application to Plans Panel with a recommendation to approve, it is likely to be presented again along with the Horizon application on Thursday 20th August.
The officer's report on the Horizon application is not yet published.
Despite LCC insisting they are taking each application independently, they have stated that the Westerleigh application has less visual impact on the green belt. They have not published any comparative analysis of the two schemes.
The Forum considers the Horizon structure to be less visually intrusive.
