URGENT: Your response needed by 5pm Monday 16/11/15

Leeds City Council recently publish their "draft" housing site allocation plans. For our area (Outer South) there are a staggering 2,600 new homes proposed of which 737 are located within Oulton and Woodlesford - most on green belt land, and on land designated as special interest!

Of particular concern are the proposed allocations on Methley Lane and Fleet Lane. Your comments and objections are needed by 5pm on Monday. You can either download and return a physical form, or file your comments online and using their interactive map (type Oulton into search box on map, select a site and click the arrow in the popup to get details and add comments).

You can view our suggested comments and objections in these documents, please feel free to use any of the points in your own responses:

Note that comments must be made per site, so multiple forms will be required if sending on paper.

Please take the time to review the published information and respond to the consultation before 5pm on Monday 16 November 2015. You may also want to write to our local Councillors and MP to ask for their support in protecting our green belt and village character.

Please also check their interactive map and be sure to select the "SAP - Discounted Sites" layer from the top right menu. Not only should we comment on their currently proposed sites, but also those that may be placed on the list in the future, or to replace those that are removed following objections.
